Geoff has had a varied background prior to coming to Earth Gardens in 2003 - a draftsman, an orchardist and not to mention a horticultural tutor. Geoff is particularly interested in Adult Learning and Teaching and has spent some years gaining qualifications in this area.
Having a job that made a difference and working with people who want to achieve something in their lives initially attracted Geoff to the role. He most enjoys working with the team and clients to break down barriers that some clients have because of their illness or disability.
Geoff firmly believes that the team at Earth Gardens always have the welfare of the clients at the forefront of what they do. On a personal note, he finds it very rewarding when a member of the Earth Gardens community achieves a personal goal (whether it be large or small).
Lindsay Foss - Maintenance Facilitator
Seven years on, Lindsay still enjoys being part of the Earth Gardens team. Having been an electrician in the Navy, a farm hand and a builder/carpenter – Lindsay’s skills were ideally suited to his role at Earth Gardens.
Handing on these skills and knowledge to the clients is what makes the role enjoyable, and of course the great team!
Angela Torwick - Horticulture Facilitator
Angela has joined our team at Earth Gardens and comes with a qualification in social work. The role offered Angela a chance to do something new and challenging, plus the relaxing and stress-free atmosphere was also an attraction.
Angela enjoys the friendly and positive relationship between the staff and clients at Earth Gardens.
